Adapting to Cross-Platform Needs

In the journey of developing the Maths@Home App, we recently presented a detailed rundown of the app's proposed design and functionalities to our project partners. This presentation played a crucial role in understanding the specific needs and expectations for the app. Based on the feedback received, we realized the importance of making the app accessible on both iOS and Android platforms.

To achieve this, we shifted our development strategy from using Swift (for iOS) and Java (for Android) to embracing Flutter and Dart. This move towards Flutter, a versatile and efficient UI toolkit, allows us to maintain a single, unified codebase for both platforms, ensuring consistency and efficiency in development.

This strategic change underscores our commitment to delivering a high-quality, accessible, and user-friendly educational tool, catering to a diverse audience across various devices.
